Intermediate Excel Level 2: Excel Databases
This intermediate-level Excel course is for learners who use Excel to manage data such as lists of residents, birthday lists and databases. You will learn how to create a Database in Excel, and manage this with Advanced Filter options and create Pivot Tables to see only the most relevant information.
What you will learn
In particular you will be able to:
- Create a List in Excel
- Create a Database in Excel
- Consolidate information from more than one list
- Analyse the information using Excel’s Data menu
- Sort and Filter including the use of Advanced Filters
- Use the Subtotals Command
- Use Pivot Tables to analyse your data

The Small Print
The course will run from 10am to 4:45pm (lunch is served 1pm to 1:45pm — we offer a choice of 3 cold bowl dishes). Please be careful to arrive by 9:45am for registration and refreshments. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals. If you arrive over 30 minutes late you may be asked to leave and attend another day.
