Are you ready to take your project planning and delivery to the next level?

In: BlogDate: May 14, 2025By: Rachael Worrall

You’ve probably been there. You’ve got a solid process in place, but somehow, things still don’t always go to plan.

Deadlines slip, stakeholders (and sometimes even the project team) disagree.

Sometimes the results aren’t what you were hoping for, sometimes you get there but with a lot of unnecessary stress along the way.

Most of the time, it’s not about the process itself—it’s about the people. Leadership and communication issues, or a lack of team alignment can get in the way.

That’s where Happy can help. Our Next Steps in Project Management workshop is designed to help you think about what’s working and what’s more of a challenge in your own projects. Although we have a host of tools and approaches, we won’t give you an off-the-peg course. Instead, we’ll help you tackle the specific challenges you’re facing, in a way that’s hands-on and practical.

Hi, we are Happy

We are leading a movement to create happy, empowered and productive workplaces.

How can we help you and your people to find joy in at least 80% of your work?

If you are someone who is used to managing projects for a while and has a well-defined process, or if you have been on our Introduction to Project Management, then our Next Steps in Project Management workshop could be your next step.

But what makes our project management workshops different?

A focus on real-world challenges

Every project is different, your workplace and the people around you all make for unique opportunities and challenges. That’s why we tailor the course for you. We will ask you before the session about the challenges you’re dealing with. Whether it’s issues with team alignment, handling difficult stakeholders, or advocating for your project with some assertive communication, we will focus on the problems that matter to you. We’ll even use your examples throughout the course, so the advice you get is tailored to your exact situation.

Trainers with experience, not just theory

Our trainers aren’t just project management theorists —they’ve actually worked alongside teams on real projects. They have experience of working with and delivering workshops to all sectors, solving the sorts of problems you are facing. They won’t just talk at you about theory. Instead, they’ll share real-world stories and strategies that actually work, because they’ve been tried and tested.

Collaboration is key: learn from each other

Happy doesn’t deliver “sit and listen” courses. We believe in learning by doing, which means you’ll be getting stuck into collaborative exercises with your fellow participants. Whether we’re tackling real-life examples or case studies, you’ll work together to come up with solutions. You won’t just learn from your facilitator —you will also get valuable insights from others in the room who are dealing with similar issues.

We will be there for you after the course

We know that the real work starts once the course ends. That’s why we will take time during the course for you to reflect on and commit to actions to take away and put into practice straight away. We will follow up with all the resources, tools, and reading material we’ve covered, so you can keep applying what you’ve learned. We’re here to make sure the changes you make last and that you see real improvement in your project delivery so we will follow up to see how you are getting on. If you need something more, our facilitators can also offer one-to-one Project Management coaching if there are any challenges you would like to dig into further.

Do you need a flexible workshop that takes your practice to the next level?

You may take away some reminders or tweaks to your process from our Next Steps in Project Management workshop that will help, and you will certainly take away approaches that will help you to succeed with the people and leadership dynamics that are at the heart of successful projects.
