Microsoft OneNote Essentials

OneNote is useful as a digital replacement for your paper notebook and has the advantage of being fully searchable as well as making organising information in categories really easy.  It’s useful for planning projects and for working in teams too.  If you are using Office 365 in the Cloud you can collaborate using OneNote.

This course is also available as a private group for teams to learn how to use OneNote to collaborate better together, either as a half-day or full day of training.

Course Requirements

Learners must be confident creating and saving files in other Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word or Excel).  The full course is designed for organisations using Office 365 with the cloud elements (Portal and OneDrive) but we can run a version for learners with only network drives.

Session Four: Sharing and the Office 365 Portal

  • Using OneNote Office 365

  • Sharing your Notebook
  • Editing a OneNote Notebook through the Web App

The course will run from 10am to 4:45pm (light cold buffet 1pm to 1:45pm). Please be careful to arrive by 9.45am for registration and refreshments. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals. If you arrive over 30 minutes late you may be asked to leave and attend another day.
