Introduction to Microsoft Teams Live Online Learning Course

Office 365 Teams is a new way of communicating and storing files. Instead of having to search a shared drive for files, or your whole mailbox for information, Teams provides a way to collaborate and share by project or by working group. This means that everything that happens in relation to a team or project is in one place, making it easier to find the information you need and to keep this up-to-date.

These two 90-minute sessions are an introduction to working with Teams and cover setting up Teams and how to structure them, as well as using Channels, Chat, Files and Meetings, Calendar and Calls. The trainer guides the learners through the material, encouraging participation and interaction — just like in our classroom training sessions.

Bookings for these two 90-minute sessions are currently available at the special introductory price of £75 per person, with equivalent discounted rates for charity and public sector workers. Please note, this is a time-limited offer.

The Small Print

The course will run remotely for 90 minutes.

All learners will need to either install GoToTraining on their machines or use the Web App in a browser (either Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are supported). Full technical requirements are on the GoTo websiteYour link will be included in your joining instructions once you have booked your place — if you haven't received this email then please contact our team.

Learners should log into the training session 10 minutes before the start time to ensure that they have downloaded and set up GoTo correctly. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals.

Your active participation is expected: everyone will be heard and seen throughout, just as they would be if we were in a room together. To be heard, hear and seen you will need a microphone, speakers and camera – if you have a modern laptop that’s all you will need. Remember, you’ll need a quiet place to call from and a decent internet connection is a must.

Please ensure you read our Terms and Conditions before booking for our payment terms and cancellation policy.
