Intermediate Gmail Level 2 Live Online Learning Courses

We currently offer one Intermediate Level 2 Live Online Learning session for Gmail. The Beating Email Overload session is 90 minutes long and covers a range of essential skills that will improve your productivity. You can also mix and match this Gmail session with any of our other G Suite online training sessions.

Live Online Learning is an interactive webinar, delivered using GoToTraining. Learners log into the software on their own machine and can be anywhere — at their desk or at home. The trainer then guides the learners through the material, encouraging participation and interaction.

Session Overview

Gmail Level 2: Beating Email Overload

Are you struggling under the weight of email? This session will give you practical, technical tips to manage your mailbox better as well as covering behaviours that can help lighten the load for you and your colleagues.

Course requirements: You will need to be confident setting up and formatting a Google Docs document and be able to save and locate it. You will also need to be confident using Gmail to send and receive email.

  • Speed Up everyday tasks: Searching, Sorting, Flagging emails, Tasks
  • Good email practice
  • 3,2,1,0 and 4 frogs (methods for increasing productivity)
  • Turning off alerts

The Small Print

The course will run remotely for 90 minutes. 

All learners will need to either install GoToTraining on their machines or use the Web App in a browser (either Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are supported). Full technical requirements are on the GoTo websiteYour link will be included in your joining instructions once you have booked your place — if you haven't received this email then please contact our team.

Learners should log into the training session 10 minutes before the start time to ensure that they have downloaded and set up GoTo correctly. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals.

Your active participation is expected: everyone will be heard and seen throughout, just as they would be if we were in a room together. To be heard, hear and seen you will need a microphone, speakers and camera – if you have a modern laptop that’s all you will need. Remember, you’ll need a quiet place to call from and a decent internet connection is a must.
