Clarion Events is an events company, organising both live and digital events across the world. They organised two Happy Leadership Programme cohorts for their leadership team, both based in the classroom at Happy.

The programme developed this further and has given managers greater confidence with their direct reports. "Managers have increased confidence in how to structure 1-to-1s and ask effective questions to get the most from them. It has also boosted morale generally across our senior leadership team."

The biggest concern that Alex had before the training began was whether the learning would be implemented by the team. "I often find in training it's great for a week or so, but bad habits then creep back in and the training benefit is lost."

However, because of the style of Happy's training and with so many managers attending the programme, they have continued to learn and support each other. Clarion continues to monitor the results from the programme and its success, with a six-month pulse survey planned to see the longer-term effect it has had on the leaders and those they work with.
