Citizens Advice is a national charity and network of independent charities at the heart of local communities. They provide free, confidential and impartial advice to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward — whoever they are and whatever their problem. In 2020-2021, they helped over 2.4 million people with one-to-one advice and had over 60 million views of their online self-help advice, supported by 18,800 volunteers, 2,500 Witness Service volunteers and 8,700 staff.

Happy has worked with Citizens Advice for many years now! The most recent project has been a roll out of training in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) to all of their staff to support working during the pandemic. "Happy is a really friendly and easy to work with training provider, whose courses are applicable to a wide range of roles and skill levels," says Molly Banyard, Business Support Administrator at Citizens Advice.

We offered three levels of Google training, tailored to learner ability and confidence — Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Due to the pandemic all training was held online through our Live Online Interactive Learning workshops. These workshops are designed to replicate our face-to-face learning experience, offering interactive and fun experiences.

"The interactive sessions allow attendees to learn and practice skills at the same time to get a better idea of whether they've understood – and this gives better retention. Trainers are willing to go through practical examples specific to people’s roles, which is really helpful for practical application of the skills covered."
