Case Study: Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA)

In: Case StudyDate: May 25, 2019By: Claire Lickman

Happy created 2.5 hours of classroom training for government vets who might use enforcement techniques in the course of normal duties.

We then created an online refresher course as a follow-up to the classroom training. This was designed to remind vets of the rules and important points associated with evidence gathering and work that has a legal dimension.

The content had been produced by an expert in-house team whom we worked closely with to develop comprehensive scenario-based learning with a strong diagnostic and testing component.

We provided separate pathways for 7 different roles within APHA.  Learners work their way through new, step-by-step field-based scenarios that tests their decision making, legal and evidence gathering techniques as they progress.

This was quite a big project with very tight time scales but the rapid prototyping techniques we use, enabled us to meet some very challenging deadlines.
