Course Requirements

Students should be confident in creating and saving documents in Office, as well as using Outlook (or similar email programme).

What You Will Learn

This course will highlight the new features in the Office suite (2013 or 2016). This course is designed for anyone who would like an overview of Office 365’s new features or who is familiar with Microsoft Office but is moving over to Office 365.

You can look at what the Cloud means for the way that you work – in Office 365, you can access the Portal and all of the 365 tools (particularly OneDrive) from multiple devices for more flexible working.

Skype for Business can help you collaborate and communicate, and, used wisely, it can reduce email overload. OneNote is useful for taking notes on the fly and can be shared within your team.

The course will run from 10am to 4:45pm (light cold buffet 1pm to 1:45pm). Please be careful to arrive by 9.45am for registration and refreshments. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals. If you arrive over 30 minutes late you may be asked to leave and attend another day.
