This two-hour online session is suitable for those who already manage teams that are widely dispersed, or for those who are now having to do so in response to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. It focuses on how you, as a remote manager, can harness accountability and trust within your team. It identifies what great remote managers do exceptionally well and provides key practical activities to help you implement immediate changes to the way you manage and lead remotely.
This session will be delivered online through Zoom. Happy's Live Online Learning sessions are interactive webinars. The facilitator guides learners through the material, encouraging participation and interaction.

You will need a headset with microphone and speakers, and a quiet place to call from with a decent internet connection. A webcam is also suggested so you can participate fully in the session. All learners will need to install Zoom on their machines.
What you will learn
Attending this workshop will enable you to explore the evolving nature of team management by focusing on leading employees remotely. You will learn tips on how to continue to build relationships, and how to step back and build trust among your people.
The workshop outlines practical ways how you can overcome challenges in remote team management (for example, in relation to time differences and not being co-located). It also reinforces the importance of trust and how to develop this in remote teams to accelerate accountability, efficiencies and productivity in these challenging times.

The Small Print
All learners will need to install Zoom on their machines. Full technical requirements are on the Zoom website. Your link will be included in your joining instructions once you have booked your place — if you haven't received this email then please contact our team.
Learners should log into the training session 10 minutes before the start time, to ensure that they have downloaded and set up Zoom correctly. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals.
Your active participation is expected: everyone will be heard and seen throughout, just as they would be if we were in a room together. To be heard, hear and seen you will need a microphone, speakers and camera — if you have a modern laptop that’s all you will need. Remember, you’ll need a quiet place to call from and a decent internet connection is a must.
