This workshop has been designed for managers who would like to develop their coaching skills, or for leaders who have been on our four-day Happy Workplace Leadership Programme and would like further support.
What you will learn
Learn in one day how to develop your coaching skills and work towards becoming the sort of leader that people would choose to be led by. You will also go away with your own personal action plan that you can use straight away.

By the end of this one-day coaching skills workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand when people work at their best
- Identify who you are as a leader and your leadership attitude
- Identify the benefits of coaching
- Identify how to enhance your listening skills and learn how to pay absolute attention to what is being said and not said
- Learn and practice the key element of effective coaching – TED invitations
- Identify how to use coaching questions to uncover the deeper issues impacting the situation being presented
- Nurture an individual’s ability to solve their own problems and create an action plan to address their challenges
- Understand how to build trust and credibility
- You will also develop your own personal action plan beyond the programme

The Small Print
The course will run from 10am to 4:30pm (lunch is served 1pm to 1:45pm — we offer a choice of 3 cold bowl dishes). Please be careful to arrive by 9.45am for registration and refreshments. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals. If you arrive over 30 minutes late you may be asked to leave and attend another day.

Due to current government guidelines we have temporarily closed our training centre in London. All of our staff are now working remotely, and all classroom training has been postponed until 29th May.
We have developed a fantastic range of interactive webinars delivered by our experienced facilitators, Live Online Learning. We understand that for many people this will be the first time that they have worked from home and so we have developed short 1.5-2 hour sessions to help you adjust to this new situation.
