Microsoft 365 Desktop Apps
Is your team changing to Microsoft 365 Desktop Apps from a previous version of Microsoft Office? Get familiar with the new Desktop Apps for Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word in this half-day course.
The new Microsoft 365 Desktop Apps have a new, cleaner look. Many of the new changes are 'under the hood', making the suite more powerful, rather than changing how you use each program. We will go through all of the essential things you need to know to get started, including saving files on OneDrive and sharing them with others.
We are currently only holding our public programme online, delivered as Live Online Interactive Learning via GoToTraining. We are able to offer classroom sessions for private bookings only — please get in touch for availability.
What you will learn
By the end of this half-day course, you will feel confident using the new functionality and features of the Microsoft 365 Desktop Apps for Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
Please note, this course is designed to show you how to use features you are already familiar with from previous versions.
This is not an Office 365 and working in the Cloud course (although it does mention working in the Cloud). If you would like to learn how to use Microsoft 365 features such as SharePoint, OneNote, Skype for Business and Yammer, please see our Office 365 Conversion course or contact us for details.

Due to current government guidelines we have temporarily closed our training centre in London. All of our staff are now working remotely, and all classroom training has been postponed until 29th May.
We have developed a fantastic range of interactive webinars delivered by our experienced facilitators, Live Online Learning. We understand that for many people this will be the first time that they have worked from home and so we have developed short 1.5-2 hour sessions to help you adjust to this new situation. You can see details of our IT Skills live online learning sessions here and our Personal Development sessions here – or we can adapt any of our classroom training into webinar format for you.
For the latest government guidance, please visit the gov.uk website.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise all clients if the situation changes.
If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to arrange some online training, our friendly team are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You can leave a message on 020 7375 7300 or email us at email@example.com.
