Introduction to Social Media Marketing

Social media is a great way to raise brand awareness of your organisation! It gives your organisation a voice, a place to showcase your work and it allows you to start conversations directly with both your customers and users. Plus, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter are all free to use – it just costs your time. But with so many organisations using social networks these days, how can you stand out from the crowd and get your voice heard?

By the end of this one-day intensive course, you will understand the potential of social media and will know how to make the most of these opportunities.

Course Requirements

This is a fast-paced course designed for beginners who have never used social media for business before and would like to learn where to start. It is also appropriate for somebody who has used social media for business for a little while but want to know how to take their performance to the next level.

Please note that this course does not cover how to create social media accounts.

Learners must have created a basic personal Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn account. They do not have to be familiar with posting and sharing content (photos, videos, weblinks) as the course is designed to take learners from the very essentials through to strategic planning and monitoring.

If learners would like the training to incorporate any of the other major Social Media platforms, please contact us before booking.
