What to Expect
At Happy Computers, we are committed to providing the most realistic appraisal of your abilities. Wherever possible, we use test systems that use the real application. We aim also to provide full accessibility. Should you have any special needs we should be aware of, do advise us at the time of booking.
What will Happen on the Day
- On arrival you will be greeted and shown to the café area.
- The Invigilator will come and find you and check your ID and details are correct.
- You will be shown to a training room and sat down at a test computer.
- The Invigilator will log you onto the test system
- The test will not start until you click on the Start button
- The Invigilator will keep an eye to make sure the test starts correctly
The Test Itself
- Initally you will be taken through several screens of instructions about the test itself.
Until you have read these the exam will not start - The test software uses a combination of the actual software and a simulation
- There is a clock on-screen counting down the time you have left
- The total number of questions remaining and the one you are on will be displayed
- Each question may have several parts to it
- You can skip a question if needed which you can return to later
- You can reset a question if needed
- Completed questions cannot be returned to
When you have Finished
- Once you have completed the exam, it will be marked and a temporary certificate printed for you
