By the end of the course, you will be introduced to the benefits of Pivot tables/reports, update your Pivot table and manipulate only the data you are interested in and make it easier to read. Delegates must be experienced in using Windows and a mouse and at least one other Windows package (for example Word or Excel).

What You Will Learn

In particular you will be able to:

  • Manipulate your pivot table, such as, rearranging the layout, adding and removing fields
  • Group data manually
  • Display subtotals
  • Change the look of your pivot table
  • Show numerical information so it appears as a percentage of the total
  • Use the GETPIVOTDATA function to extract data from a pivot table

Session 4

Optional Topics: Pivot Chart Report; Publish Pivot Chart Reports to the Web; Add Fields; Use Pivot Table List; Multiple Ranges as Source Data


The course will run from 10am to 4:45pm (light cold buffet 1pm to 1:45pm). Please be careful to arrive by 9.45am for registration and refreshments. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals. If you arrive over 30 minutes late you may be asked to leave and attend another day.
