Book now

Unlike most courses, there isn’t a strict timetable to follow. Instead:

Learning the keys

You will commit to memory up to 30 keys used in touch typing. You will work with a partner and your trainer will guide you through some carefully designed exercises. Laughter is thoroughly recommended, as is smiling and enjoying yourself.

Typing Exercises

You will become spatially aware of the keys, learning how to move from key to key, we provide you with exercises designed by us to get you fluent on the keys. Your trainer will coach you in your technique.
The course concentrates on accuracy, not speed, throughout the day.
By the end of the day you will be able touch type. It might be very slow, however, with continued practice, you will be able to achieve good speeds.

There are no shortcuts to speed development – continued practice will improve your speed.

The course will run from 10am to 4:45pm (light cold buffet 1pm to 1:45pm). Please be careful to arrive by 9.45am for registration and refreshments. The course will start precisely on time and it may not be possible to go back over material missed by late arrivals. If you arrive over 30 minutes late you may be asked to leave and attend another day.
