We are pleased to announce that Happy is expanding its successful Apprenticeship scheme!
Currently, the scheme just covers Drupal, a code used by web developers as a back-end framework for at least 2.2% of all websites worldwide. However, the new scheme starting in September/October 2016 will cover both WordPress and Magento – both of which are incredibly popular website frameworks, with 1 in 5 websites around the world now built in WordPress!
We are currently planning the new course programme and would like WordPress and Magento people to get involved. This will be your chance to get the skills that your business needs on our course curriculum. Contact our Apprenticeship Programme Manager, Sheena, to get involved at email@example.com.
The new scheme will be starting in September/October 2016 in Leeds. The expanding scheme also means that we are on the hunt for enthusiastic young developers, as well as forward-thinking businesses that would like to take on an Apprentice! If you’re interested, please contact Sheena for details, or click here for more information.
Our Apprenticeship scheme will be delivering the new Software Developer Level 4 Trailblazer Apprenticeship. An added benefit of this qualification is that the funding comes with employer incentives – payments are made to employers to support them when taking on an Apprentice. This comes to £5,400 for employing an 18 year old, plus an additional £2,700 for small companies with less than 50 staff, plus a further £2,700 when your Apprentice completes the scheme.
