If you belong to a small London charity, you could qualify for free IT support from Happy Computers as part of our Timebank Scheme. We provide onsite training and consultancy on a wide range of IT topics.
If you could have a trainer for a day, what would YOU do?
What is the Timebank Scheme?
As part of our commitment to donating 20% of our profits to the local community, the Timebank scheme was created to donate time and experience for charitable causes.
The scheme is based on the principle of mutual benefit. Nearly 80% of our clients are from the voluntary sector. IT trainers who donate their time through the scheme can broaden their practical knowledge of IT and the people who use it.
This can only make them better trainers.
What services are provided?
Trainers will work with you on a variety of IT issues, from databases and spreadsheets, to presentations or mailmerge.
We won’t provide formal training, per se. The aim is to provide specific support, or consultancy on a particular issue or task you might have.
If you prefer classroom training, Happy Computers offers a 35% reduction on the lists price for all our courses. In addition, there are standard last minute discounts available to all.
Fully funded IT qualifications are available through our IT Apprenticeship Scheme.
Who qualifies?
Small charities (20 or less staff) based anywhere around the UK.
